Jury duty during the playoffs
Answer:
Jury members must take their jobs seriously. All persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent until they are found guilty; this is a fundamental principle of justice in criminal law. Juries must be very careful for this reason when they are deciding the guilt or innocence of the accused. The judge gives the jury clear instructions about their role and the legal rules they must apply when coming to a decision. Jury members can’t just flip a coin to decide whether an accused is guilty or not. Jury deliberation is important work that is intense and can take many hours or days.
